Maximilian von Kastrop was the son of Oigen von Kastrop, and ruled over the planet Kastrop. He is notable for inciting the Kastrop Rebellion, a revolt against the Goldenbaum Dynasty which was ended with only one casualty.
A cruel hedonist, Maximilian was murdered by his own retainers after Kastrop's planetary defense satellites, the Artemis Necklace, were destroyed.
